FACT Training Held Author: Michelle Grant-Shumar Source: FACT News Release Date: August 27, 2008 On Saturday, June 21st Fayette Area Coordinated Transportation hosted an in-house bus driver's training course.  The training topic covered was Passenger Assistance.  The trainer was David White, Operations, Safety & Training Supervisor from Washington Rides.  Training participants were FACT Operations Manager, Stella Rebitch; FACT Dispatcher, Mary George; and FACT drivers, John Fisher, Chuck Rupenthal, James Galley, Ed Kindervater, Shirley Vargo, John Vargo, Jerry Dean and Marjorie Tamblyn.  Drivers, Charles Rodgers and Robert Davis representing Mountain Citizens Action Group, one of FACT's subcontractors, were also in attendance.  All participants were certified and awarded certificates in Passenger/Customer Sensitivity Training. FACT will continue to host driver's training courses periodically throughout the service year.  All FACT's subcontractors will be required to attend.
